It's a challenge for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The greatest achievements have been successfully scaled.

This is the team that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and once went nearly four years without defeat in 50-over cricket.

The alternative records, those for the achievement hunters, are what's still available for a squad that has achieved everything.

It needed until Sunday's success by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, regaining their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a tribute to the bowling attack that have represented Australia over the last half-century.

It's difficult for their hitters to hold a record if not provided the chance.

At the next 50-over World Cup in New Zealand, Healy made 170 against England in the final and was declared player of the series. She guaranteed her country would not fall short again.

If this latest epic knock exceeded that prior achievement can be debated.

Many contend the argument supporting the pressure of a final. Some might respond with the test that comes when facing a record target and an enthusiastic Indian fanbase of 20,000.

What's clear is this hundred was much more difficult to predict.

The Christchurch destruction in 2022 came as she led the batting statistics, but this knock was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"For those following me in the nets, it has been a disappointing period because I feel like I lacked timing at all," commented Healy.

"But once you enter the playing area, your fighting spirit kick in and you just lock into the competition."

Healy's fighting spirit has continuously been her key asset - and an irreplaceable characteristic in replacing iconic ex-skipper Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in last month's ODI series, fallen to the 22-year-old seamer in every game, but here that only provided Healy's motivation.

A single came off Gaud's first delivery and after that the right-hander was in motion.

"An opportunity to take the field and lock in a contest with her and merely enjoy the moment that way, somewhat inspired me," said Healy.

She achieved fifty in 35 deliveries - her quickest at a World Cup - and her ton in 84 balls as she punished short deliveries, striking 21 boundaries and three maximums.

Once she was dismissed her side needed 66 additional runs at one run per ball - a manageable total now requiring a leisurely stroll.

"To chase 330 is unfamiliar ground so I'm happy we have the assurance to accomplish that now," added Healy.

"Ideally we won't need to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can achieve it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this World Cup should hear.

During the last week a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this victory coming after victory over Pakistan by 107 runs despite struggling at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before an encounter with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they exited the previous year's T20 World Cup in a shock defeat by South Africa - an encounter Healy couldn't play because of ruptured tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at a major tournament.
