The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the two fighters confronted each other to promote the upcoming bout.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami's Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Still, the novice remains one of the sport's largest money-making draws, consistently making massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is truly happening.
